
So Brandon & I got to go to Virginia for a week . . . nevermind that it was work related, but we had a wonderful time away, hanging out at coffee shops at night and seeing the sights over there after the classes were done. Here's a few photos:

Oldest brick in America at Jamestowne Settlement . . .


James Fort - the oldest permanent settlement in America, dating back to 1607. As you can see from the tarp in the background, they are still excavating artifacts! Archeologists found the original location of the fort in the 1990s by piecing together clues. And they have been finding thousands of artificts since! There is a whole musuem full of them . . . And in case you were wondering (because I was), the Pilgrims came over a few years later and settled farther north . . .
