Soccer Days are Over for the Season . . .

Now that soccer has been over for a week or so, here are the highlights from the pictures that turned out. Although Kayle had never played before, he thoroughly enjoyed it, spending spare time practicing and learning. I'm not sure what he enjoyed more - getting in the action "Man that is a constant workout running up and down the field" or being goalie, blocking shots and wearing the famous orange shirt. He would come home with some incredible stories after each game - I didn't realize what a contact sport soccer was!
They won their last game, 4-0, on a Friday afternoon with Kayle as goalie, which is a miracle considering the night before he was swept to the floor while kicking. He was very stiff and in much pain that night and the morning of the big game. The entire team and parents (and us) were praying for him to be healed quickly and able to play and he was - Praise God who is our healer and deliverer!
